To clean a PVC jet ski pontoon, use mild soap and water with a soft brush, then rinse and dry completely. For storage, ensure the collar is stored in a cool, dry, shaded area and is completely dry to prevent mildew and sun damage. Applying a UV protectant like 303 Protectant is highly recommended to extend its life by shielding it from damaging ultraviolet rays.
Cleaning Your PVC Pontoon

1. Rinse:
Begin by rinsing the collar with fresh water to remove loose dirt and debris.
2. Wash:
Use a mild soap, such as a pH-neutral soap or a diluted dish soap, along with a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub the PVC surface. This step is not necessary after every use but is good to do every few uses.
3. Rinse Again:
Thoroughly rinse the pontoon with fresh water to remove all soap residue.
4. Dry:
Ensure the pontoon is completely dry before storing it to prevent mold and mildew.
- Location: Store the pontoon in a cool, dry, and shaded location. A garage or shed is an ideal spot.
- Dryness is Key: Make sure the pontoon is completely dry to avoid any moisture buildup.
- Protect from UV Rays: UV rays are very damaging to inflatables.
- Apply Protectant: Apply a high-quality UV protector, such as 303 Protectant, to the collar. Follow the product's instructions for application.
